Louisiana Data Center Tracker
Every major AI and cloud data center project announced in Louisiana, with investment, power, water and jobs as reported. Updated as of Oct. 6, 2026.
How does Louisiana compare? See the Gulf South Data Center Tracker for Mississippi and Alabama projects and deal terms side by side.
Why track power and water? Large data centers can use as much electricity as a city, and some cooling systems use a lot of water. Who supplies the power, and who pays for new plants and lines, is often the biggest public question about a project.

- Figures are as reported by the cited source; where sources disagree, we show both.
- Job counts mix direct, indirect and construction estimates. These are projections, not hiring records.
- SpaceX's Starbase Louisiana is a launch site, not a data center, and is covered in our Space section.
