These are the standards every GeauxTech story follows.
Sourcing
- We cite primary sources wherever they exist: bill text, agency notices, regulatory filings, court records and public data.
- When we rely on other news outlets, we name and link them.
- We date time-sensitive facts with "as of."
- We don't publish claims we can't source. If something is reported but unconfirmed, we say so.
Clarity
- We open with a real question or plain setup, not hype.
- We define every technical term in plain English the first time it appears.
- We state what the data does and doesn't prove.
- We avoid "first," "only" and other superlatives unless a source supports them.
Crypto coverage
We don't discuss prices or make investment recommendations. Crypto stories are educational, not financial advice, and say so.
Conflicts of interest
If a story involves an organization the publisher has a financial or advocacy relationship with, we say so in that story. See our disclosures page.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and formatting. A human editor reviews every story, checks its sources and is responsible for what we publish.
Independence
No company or organization we cover reviews our stories before publication.
