Meta is building its Hyperion AI data center in Richland Parish. As of July 13, 2026, LED says the commitment is more than $50 billion, nearly 10 million square feet and 5 gigawatts of IT capacity, with 7,500 peak construction jobs and 1,000 operating jobs. Meta uses Source Louisiana as its subcontracting portal.
